The materials that make EMU’s collections strongly recognizable are steel and aluminum, skillfully combined with technological and innovative materials and subjected to rigorous monitoring and control processes, from raw materials to the validation of the finished product. In addition to aluminum and steel, some of EMU’s most widely used materials are 100%FSC teak (a natural and responsibly managed material) bamboo (a natural source material harvested without causing deforestation), non-toxic HPL (consisting of 70% renewable sources with FSC and PEFC certifications and ISO9001 and 140001 for manufacturing suppliers) and many other sustainable materials.
