ASCS: a Solidarity Christmas with Pencil Sprout and iGreen Cube!

ASCS: alongside immigrants, refugees and local communities since 2004

Since 2004, ASCS has been the social, operational and cultural arm of the Missionaries of St. Charles – Scalabrinians operating in the Europe and Africa Region. The Congregation, founded in 1887 by the blessed Giovanni Battista Scalabrini, has been working for over 130 years in 32 countries in favor of immigrants and refugees.

ASCS focuses on three areas of intervention: Integral Reception, Intercultural Animation and Development Cooperation. Some examples? Language, computer and driving school courses, free of charge and open to all, but also meetings to raise awareness of the main issues related to immigration. Hospitality projects, but also health and first aid, such as “Una Sola Casa”, a campaign promoted by ASCS to deal with the main emergencies caused by the Covid19 pandemic.
